Arval Road Safety Seminar
7 Jul > Coventry, UK
2,538 people lost their lives on UK roads in 2008 and it is estimated that a third of those involve a vehicle being driven as part of their work.
With laws regarding health and safety and employers duties of care tightening, it is essential to ensure your company is compliant and your drivers are aware of safety issues.
This is Arval's 3rd road safety event for businesses, and this time it is being hosted at Peugeot in Coventry on the 7th July. The main objective of the event is to inspire businesses to take road safety seriously with speakers on the day including members of the Fire & Rescue services, the Police, and the 'Driving for Better Business' campaign.
By bringing together a range of professionals who work in road safety, we aim to highlight the risks and real life consequences of not taking road safety seriously. We will provide you with lots of practical advice on how to reduce the risks you and your company face and therefore would like to invite you to our complimentary event on 7th July 2010.
What will it cover?
• The risks to your company by not having a work-related road safety policy
• The benefits of investing in road safety for your business
• How to address and implement your road safety policy
• How road safety organisations and emergency services can help your business
• Our individual moral responsibilities on the road
What will you receive?
You can expect to leave the day inspired to address your safety risks. You will be provided with valuable information and links to many organisations that can help your business see the many benefits of investing in road safety.
